Following an innovative pre-qualification public tender process, the Ville de Montreal awarded Construction Cogela the renovation and repair mandate for the Olympic pools at Centre Sportif Claude Robillard. The ageing facilities required an investment of close to $15M. The repair and upgrade of facilities to meet FINA standards was a unique and complex project that was successfully managed by Cogela.

- Drained pool and removed sand from old filters; underpinned movable floor, repaired movable floor and wall, demolished beach and old filters, stripped tiles
- Removed existing platforms and shuttered the diving platforms, strengthened existing diving platform, installed new filters and plumbing, replaced observation windows
- Important electromechanical work including the complete replacement of filtering and lighting facilities.
- Applied paneling on walls and floors, replaced tiles and modified lighting for safety signage, applied liner to movable wall according to FINA standards, replaced curtain wall, strengthened pool basin
